Customers of Empire Electric now have the ability to pay their monthly electric bill without writing checks or making special trips to our offices or payment locations. The program is called the Automatic Debit Program (ADP).

ADP is an optional payment plan that allows you to pay your bill electronically, directly from your checking or savings account. If you pay with a credit card or a bank debit card, the new ADP method will eliminate the extra steps involved with those two procedures. There is no extra charge for participating in ADP.

If you choose to participate, your financial institution will automatically withdraw the payment from your bank account on the power bill due date. It's that simple - no hassles, no special trips, no worries about payments arriving on time through the mail.

With ADP, the method of payment is the only thing that has changed. We will continue to read your meter and send you a bill showing the amount due that will automatically be withdrawn from your bank account on the due date.

If ADP sounds like it's for you, just give us a call and speak with one of our Customer Service Representatives. They will get the proper authorizations forms to you to be signed. It will take about 30 days to set up your ADP. With ADP it's easier than ever to pay your electric bill.
