Tools Required!

If you need EEA to do any of the following you are in the right place:

  • Extend service to a property where EEA does not currently deliver power. This is a property where there is no meter or meter base. There may or may not be power lines close by.

    • If you need a residential or commercial single phase service that requires 75 kVA or less capacity, EEA has a New Construction Estimator Tool you can use to get a rough estimate for the cost before you contact the EEA. Click the Estimator Tool button at the bottom of the page.

    • If you need three phase power or more than 75 kVA of service capacity you will need to contact EEA. For contact information and a summary of the process, click the Three Phase or > 75 kVA Info button at the bottom of the page.

  • Listed below are other possible scenarios where you should contact EEA for an evaluation:

    • Increase the amount of power EEA can safely and reliably deliver to an existing meter. Commonly called a service upgrade and is required when you add new load like an EV charger, heat pump, all electric dryer, 5 horsepower or greater motor or pump, changing appliances from natural gas or propane to electric, etc.

    • Combining two electric meters into a single meter, or splitting load from a single meter to two or more meters.

    • Move the location of any EEA asset like a meter, pole, or transformer.

    • To get the ball rolling for any of these situations, you will need to complete the appropriate form below based on your service type (residential or commercial). The form should be submitted to EEA at csr@eea.coop or faxed to (970) 564-4404. EEA will need all of the information to begin the process of addressing your request.
