Empire Electric Association has contracted with Arbol to begin tree trimming efforts focused on areas identified as having vegetation closest to overhead powerlines in high fire danger areas in our service territory. Arbol will begin work on Monday May4, 2026.
Arbol will be working along Highway 145 north of Dolores, along Road 38 and Road R on the West Fork of the Dolores River, south of Dolores east of Highway 145, and north of Mancos. A map of the work areas is available below.
Please watch for the crew and slow down as you pass. The work they are performing improves our reliability and reduces the risk of starting a wildfire.
